Summer of 1999 found us on a camping trip to Hell Roaring Plateau in the Beartooth Mountains.  See some pictures of the night campfire, the wild flowers, the scenery and the moose!

An early spring snow caught us all by surprise - even Pioneer Park's ducks!

Late March, 2000 found us in Illinois for Kurt's father's funeral.
Russell will be missed by us all.

Fish the beautiful crystal clear waters of "The Big Sky Country" with your own personal guide Charlie Long we did and it was absolutely great!  Fort Peck Lake is 57,500 square miles with a capacity of 18,900,000 acre-feet. Over 135 miles in length at maximum pool and 220 feet deep.  The clear width of the lake is 16 miles, with 1,520 miles of shore line at an elevation of 2,234 feet.  Fort Peck Lake is really a wonder of the world!

The next portion of the trip took us to Flat Head Lake and a chance to see a remarkable sunset.

The Flat Head River passes through this huge Dam at Hungry Horse.

The magnificent beauty of Glacier Park!
The Rocky Mountains and Lake McDonald are truly breath taking.
With many mountain pictures over the years
I think that this time perhaps the pictures are perfect!

Mountain elevation is 11,200 feet.  As the trip approaches Billings we get a last view of the Crazy Mountains, complete with fresh snow from the storm that is passing through -
Montana in May??!!
